The Lion's Club provides free glasses and vision screenings to adults and children. Generally these are provided to those without insurance, but the Hudson Lion's Club is flexible about this guideline. If you have a student in need, please email Roger, include the child's name, parents' names, address and phone number. The turnaround on the glasses tends to be very quickly.

Harbor Homes has a dental clinic, medical clinic, counseling, and medication services. They have an option to work on a sliding scale for those who do not have insurance, or whose insurance does not cover services. They also have a contract with multiple private insurance agencies, and with NH Medicaid. Harbor Homes will see patients of all ages for emergency visits as well as services including: oral hygiene, extractions, and filings.

Lamprey Health Clinic has services including: primary care, pediatric care, and behavioral health services. They have a sliding scale option. In addition they have a Teen Clinic. The Teen Clinic is on Wednesdays from 2:30-5:30. They provide services to teens including STD testing, and birth control. This is a walk-in clinic, and no parent permission is required. The Teen Clinic requests a donation however teens can come for free if they cannot afford a fee.

Special Medical Services is the New Hampshire Title V Program for Children with Special Health Care needs. There programs are for children ages' birth to 21 years, who have, or are at risk for, a chronic medical condition, disabilities, or special health care need. Their services include: Health Care Coordination and a Nutrition, Feeding and Swallowing Program. This program is run under DDS, and there are no income eligibility requirements.

Virtudent provides free dental care, including: cleanings, x-rays, fluoride, and sealant. There is no eligibility criteria. Services take place at the Boys and Girls Club, but membership is not required in order to access services.

Convenient MD offers physicals for school aged children for $20. Sometimes free vouchers are available with the school nurse. In addition, they treat injuries and illnesses, and are able to bill most insurances. They are open seven days a week and accept walk-ins.

The City of Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services provides clinical and public health education services to organizations and residents in the thirteen towns that comprise the Greater Nashua Public Health Region. Their goal is to protect the public's health by providing clinical services, prevention education, and public health emergency preparedness planning. The clinical services that they provide include: immunization clinics, blood pressure clinics, and STD/HCV/HIV testing clinics and counseling services. These services are available on a weekly basis at the Division or can be scheduled with organizations throughout the region.

They also have the ability to attend health promotion events (community events, health fairs, school-based programs) and can provide public health education (trainings, presentations, and webinars) on various public health topics.

St. Joseph's Hospital has a variety of support groups, which sometimes are changing. These groups include: Cancer Support, Leukemia and Lymphoma Support, Alzheimer's, and Brain Injury/Stroke Support.
