Lawrence (Larry) Russell, Jr. has been superintendent for the Hudson School District since 2017. Prior to holding this position, he was the Director of Special Services in Hudson for two years. Within that time, he has enjoyed working with the students and communicating with the families to work toward building a learning environment that promotes student achievement and social/emotional well-being. He started his career in the Manchester School District before moving his family to Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked for the Clark County School District for 16 years.  Next was a move to New Jersey to work for two districts there before coming to Hudson in the summer of 2015.  

Mr. Russell values the inclusion of 21st Century Skills (Collaboration, Communication, Creativity and Critical Thinking) in all aspects of education to help prepare students for an ever-evolving future. He hopes to earn the trust of the parents of Hudson that he holds their children’s interest and safety paramount in all decisions. Mr. Russell holds the axiom of “If you make a decision based upon what is best for the student, you will never make a bad decision” as his beacon to lead the Hudson School District into the future.


Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction

Kimberly Organek 

Kim is happy to be returning to New Hampshire after spending the past five years in Manatee County, Florida. During her tenure in the School District of Manatee County, she has served as an Instructional Specialist, Turnaround Principal, Director of Elementary Curriculum and Professional Learning and Executive Director of Curriculum and Professional Learning. Prior to relocating to Florida, she had been a principal in Manchester, NH.

Mrs. Organek holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College, M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College, and a CAGS in Educational Leadership from the University of New Hampshire. Throughout her career in New Hampshire, she has taught fourth through eighth grades, been assistant principal and principal at the elementary and middle school levels in the Timberlane/Hampstead, Hooksett, and Manchester school districts. Before beginning a career in education, she worked as an actress in New York City, as well as toured across the United States and Canada. She and her husband Steve, a music teacher, are the proud parents of two young daughters and a golden retriever named Bailey.

Rachel Borge, MSEd, CAGS

Rachel M. Borge joined the Hudson School District in 2017. She holds degrees in Communication Disorders and Special Education with a concentration in Learning Disabilities from the College of Saint Rose and in Education Administration and Supervision from the University of New Hampshire. Mrs. Borge’s previous work experience includes middle school special education teaching in varied public school settings as well as ten years’ experience in Special Education Administration. In her spare time Mrs. Borge enjoys camping, reading and spending time with her family and their two dogs.
